I Love Camping With…
My Family!
We have been doing this for over twenty years. Some years there was only been Mom, Dad and two of us kids. Some years there were grandparents, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. One year we had three campers full of family. We have been to at least ten different states and some more than once. These are some of my best memories and I bet if you ask any one in my family they would say the same thing.

My Dog Slim!
My best bud in the whole wide world is my dog Slim. My daughter pulled him out of a garbage can when he was probably less that four weeks old. At first, I said no, but eventually gave in. Since then, Slim and I have become a team. I go no place without him. He is my best buddy. We have been to Yosemite, South California, North California, San Francisco, the beach, the mountains and everywhere in between.

My Wife!
She started 10 years ago thinking that "roughing it" was a hotel with no room service and now we regularly camp in primitive sites at least once a month. We enjoy long hikes together, starry night skies, sunrises and sunsets, and the peace and quiet of the great outdoors. It has been a wonderful experience showing Lori just how amazing Nature can be!

Our Shih-Tsu’s Sophie and Chloe!
Sophie and Chloe have not missed an outing! They are very aware of what is going to take place as we begin packing up specific camping equipment and overnight bags. They are assured of our destination when we pull into the storage lot and hook up our camper. Sophie and Chloe love to hike and sit around the campfire after dark.

My Granddaughters!
They love everything about camping, even rainy days in the camper with “Gramma”! Often, just the three of us go camping, and we always return home with many wonderful times to remember! We especially enjoy camping at the state and federal parks.

My Kids!
Camping with my kids is the highlight of my year. It takes me back to when my parents took me camping. We especially love swimming and fishing and the campfire.

My Grandsons!
I always look forward to the warm weather here in Central Kentucky because for my family that's camping time. I enjoy about all there is involved in camping but one of the things I most enjoy is taking my two grandsons Dylan & Blake. They are great campers and always help me to spot the camper and set it up. I'm an early riser usually up before day break and those boys enjoy getting up with me. This photo was taken on the shore of Green River Lake State Park in KY and the three of us watched the sun rise...what a joy.

My Golden Retriever!
She is very low key, a kid magnet and just plain old great company. When she is around everyone just has to come introduce themselves and offer Sara Ruth her favorite thing in the world, "pet-pets". There are no strangers when Sara is along!

My Husband!
My favorite person to go camping with is my husband who happens to be my best friend too. It gives us time to focus on each other away from stressful jobs, TV and phones. Our best memories in life have been our camping and RVing experiences together. Whenever we get the winter blues or feel down, we share stories about our travels and plan for our first trip in the spring. P.S. We also love having our grandchildren along and teaching them to love for God's beautiful outdoors.

Our Cousin!
We love camping with our cousin Dalton. Uncle Heath and Auntie Nanin always take us walking on the beach and exploring. We always have lots of fun and never fight. Mom and Dad make great dinners and camp breakfast is the best. We like the mountains and love to make big ditches and villages in the sand at the beach. We get to go to the beach next weekend! It's going to be so much fun!

My Dad!
For as long as I can remember my dad has always had us in the woods. From Alaska to California and from the Rockies to the Texas plains. Now, as a father myself I have been lucky enough to enjoy my dad and my son. Every year we take a week in the Rocky Mountains fly fishing. My dad is always there with homemade sourdough pancakes and a real love for outdoor beauty. He has instilled in his sons and grandchildren a real love and respect for the beauty and challenges of nature.

The Liddy Family!
Michael reminds us all year long to make a reservation. Alesia brings the wine and keeps my wife entertained. Michael helps me make the tent and set up the tarps. Their kids play with our kids. For meals they bring so much of everything that we don’t even have to pack, but we do anyway! Michael drives a mean Canoe, and we have Pontoon races through the interlocked lakes. It doesn’t get any better than this!!
