Customer Testimonial:
We were recently evacuated from our home during the enormous DAY FIRE and instead of going to a Red Cross Shelter we loaded our RV with our few personal treasures and important papers and headed for our nearby state park. The evacuation lasted more than the 7-day limit would normally allow us to stay, but Ranger Scott made sure we were comfortable and assured us we could remain longer if space allowed (or he'd see we got in to the next nearest campground at McGrath State Beach, which always has more vacancies. He stopped by numerous times during our stay to check on us and to see if we knew how our home was faring. He knew we went back to the house on some of the days to hose down the decks and the roof, if needed. It was such a comfort to us to know that at the end those days we had cool ocean air to breathe after choking on smoke and cinders near the fire and we had our own comfortable bed to rest on. We were so very grateful for Scott's attention and kindnesses during that stressful time. Our gratitude for him is 2nd in degree only to that we hold for the brave firefighters that held the line to spare our small rural community of Upper Ojai.
