Boating, fishing and excellent golf are among the attractions at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park.
The Setting
Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is located along Kentucky’s southern border at the edge of a 27,000-acre lake known for great fishing. With 620 miles of shoreline, there are plenty of shoals, small tributaries, and clean, clear water to encourage healthy fish growth. The park has a lodge, restaurant, award-winning golf course with a new pro shop, and more than 15 miles of trails that can be used for horseback riding, hiking or mountain biking. A new marina is scheduled to open in the spring of 2008. Recreational and nature programming is also offered.
The Facility
The campground has 144 sites, including 24 for campers with horses and 40 with sewer hookups. All have electric and water hookups. There are two bath houses, a camp store and a playground and pool for campers. New in 2008 are five camper cabins with a queen and single bed and heating and cooling units.
