Or spend a day on the sandy beach at the lakeshore. Comfort stations and a bathhouse provide modern comforts and necessities during your journey into nature. A number of migratory birds and animals can be seen in the mixed pine and hardwood forest that sweeps through the northern part of Louisiana. Seventeen cabins and two lodges provide comfortable overnight accommodations for families and small groups. For larger groups, the group camp can sleep up to 120 people and includes a separate dining hall. If you bring your camper or tent, take advantage of the park’s 73 camping sites.
