Jordanelle State Park is located in a picturesque mountain setting near Heber City. The park offers an array of recreation opportunities near the Wasatch Front. Camping, boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking are some of the activities to do at this very popular park. The Setting Visitor Center exhibits relate the fascinating story of the mining and agricultural days of yesteryear, and detail the development of Jordanelle Reservoir and the Central Utah Project. Evening campfire programs are conducted in the outdoor amphitheater just north of the visitor center. The Facility Hailstone is a large developed campground and day-use area on the west side of the reservoir, and is a favorite location of boaters and RV campers. Many of our campsites offer water and electric hook-ups. The concession service, Jordanelle Marina, offers boat rentals and other recreation items to complete your trip. Park Features Camping Tips Reservations are highly recommended for holiday weekends and most weekends throughout the summer. An extra fee is charged for extra vehicles.
