Kenlake State Resort Park is a polished vacation resort located on the western shore of Kentucky Lake in western Kentucky

The Setting

Kentucky Lake is 46 miles long and has 182 miles of shoreline with many creeks and streams feeding a constant flow of fresh water into the tributary. Many species of fish are found in abundance, including largemouth & smallmouth bass, stripe bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. Guests are just minutes from Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000-acre nature lover's paradise and environmental education area.

The Facility

The park features forty-eight modern, hotel rooms, thirty-four cottages, restaurant, meeting rooms, gift shop, 9-hole golf course, and marina. If you'd rather "rough it," it won't be too difficult in the 90-site campground. Utility hookups, a dump station, and a central service building with showers and rest rooms make your camping trip hassle-free April 1- October 31.

Park Features

• 182-seat dining room at the lodge. Enjoy beautiful lake views, excellent cuisine, and gracious service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.


• 2,000-seat outdoor amphitheater at the water's edge provides a scenic location for musical events. The Kentucky Lake Bluegrass Festival is held annually the first weekend in June, while in late August the musical sounds change for the Hot August Blues.


• A seasonal, indoor tennis center, with temperature-controlled courts. Outdoor courts also available.
