Kentucky Dam Village Offers Water Fun, Wildlife Viewing and Plenty of Recreational Opportunities.

The Setting

Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park covers 1,300 acres and sits along Kentucky Lake. The park has a lodge, cottages and restaurant, along with a marina, golf course and plenty of fishing and other recreational activities. The park also has hiking trails, horseback riding in the summer and summer recreational and nature programs. The park is near the Land Between the Lakes National Recreational Area.

The Facility

The park’s campground offers 219 paved campsites with water and electric hookups, a grocery store, three dump stations, and four central service buildings with showers and rest rooms. Air Camp for aviators offers the opportunity to camp by your aircraft. The facility has one central service building. Gasoline not available. Reservations are accepted. Closed for season from mid-November to mid-March.

Park Features

To enjoy wildlife, the park has several areas to observe waterfowl, songbirds, turkey, and deer. A wetlands observation site has an active Eagle nest to enjoy.

Camping Tips

Each site has a table and fire ring. Out-of-state firewood is prohibited (to keep insects away that harm trees.) Firewood available at the camp store.
