SPECIAL EVENTS
Take Pride in America, a national partnership established by the U.S. Department of the Interior, empowers volunteers from every corner of America to improve our parks, refuges, recreation areas and cultural and historical sites.

Lewis and Clark Expedition which took place between 1804 and 1806, has been described as the greatest camping trip of all time, a voyage of high adventure, an exercise in manifest destiny which carried the American flag overland to the Pacific.

Junior Ranger Program
Kids can become park rangers themselves through the Junior Ranger program. Junior Rangers demonstrate that they have what it takes to preserve and understand the importance of our national treasures. Almost every National Park has a Junior Ranger program—some are even online!
