Park: Pocahontas State Park
We have camped at Pocahontas State Park many times and always enjoy the roomy campsites and clean grounds and restrooms. The bike trail is very beautiful and has lots of up and down hill stretches. Our favorite site is one we call the Wisteria because of the beautiful climbing wild wisteria vines on either side of the camping area. There is fishing and boating to add to the fun.

Park: Longwood Campgound

We camped at Longwood Campground in Clarksville, Virginia for 1 1/2 weeks. We can not say enough GREAT things about the staff. The campground was spotless as well as the restrooms/showers. We have never stayed at a nicer campground. While at Longwood Campground, my father was in intensive care at a neighboring hospital. The campground staff was nice enough to deliver messages to our campsite when family members called with updates. The staff even asked for daily updates. It is truly a campground family. We look forward to camping there frequently. Thanks again for all you did.
